In this NES Pharmacy Podcast series, we explore the exciting reforms to the Pharmacist Foundation Training Year (FTY) in Scotland. This series discusses the practical aspects of these changes and their impact on various roles within the FTY programme.
In this second episode, we welcome Pharmacists Colin Dougall and Debbie Guthrie, who are taking on the roles of Designated Supervisor and/or Designated Prescribing Practitioner for Trainee Pharmacists in the Modular programme for the 2025-26 FTY cohort. They will provide an insightful overview of how those involved in the modular programme are preparing for the 2025-26 cohort and discuss their plans for supervising and supporting their Trainee Pharmacists throughout the FTY year.
